The technical definition of constipation is if you are not eliminating three times a day.

That is the way the body is designed to work–three meals and three bowel movements–that's how babies & animals do it. Once or twice daily is acceptable–but if you are missing days and you never go more than once a day then you are constipated & you need to do something about it. See above for instructions.
If constipation is not resolved the waste builds up in the colon and then is reabsorbed into the system and will make you feel sick and tired. Most people need a colon cleanse twice a year–every spring and fall–that is what the body actually wants–but we are so out of touch with nature and good food that we just don't function properly. Never use any kind of intestinal/bowel cleanser if you have any kind of Inflammatory Bowel Condition that will make it worse.
