Constipation and IBS: Why Am I Constipated?

Most people suffering from inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) also suffer from constipation and IBS. There are some who are predisposed to both diarrhea and constipation and tend to swing from one state to the other, which causes some confusion. This is because once the diarrhea is treated, you also have to manage the constipation.
